I find the newer sport mode idrive options to be a bit gimicky in comparison to the older idrive. Whether the suspension and steering options make any difference I can't say. What I can say is full Sport+ is awesome for hammertime and anytime downshifting. Upshifting during spirited but not hammertime can rev to painful points like "why isn't it upshifting?!" Thanks for shedding some light.. I'm going to set individual sport mode to sport+ engine and sport tranny for spirited daily driving which is anywhere I can get away with massively exceeding speed limits on the way to work! Oh and hammertime for me is either a drag race or track time which I've only done in the 240.
