I think you're right. It'll be interesting to see this 3er and how close your rendering is. BMW always get it bang on beautiful when it comes to looks on the 3 series and they can't afford not to. Even Bangle couldn't resist making the e90 gorgeous.

I think the current 3er (with its LED spectacles option) is a very handsome car indeed, and some of the magazines have said it's the best in class even in terms of looks alone.

No easy task designing a 3 - no pressure
The 3 series was arguably the most important car for BMW. I use "was" because I now suspect that the X series SUV's are now more important... I think the future X3 is their most important design.
