Pretty sure I read somewhere correctly that the length will remain at 182.4 inches (71.3 width). The wheelbase currently on the 340 is 110.6 inches.
The wheelbase will increase to, my guess, 113 inches. WHY? Because the 3 GT is a 115" wheelbase. So a 2.4 inch increase is in the middle. The width will probably increase a full inch putting it at 72.3. The current weight of a 340i is 3695 w/ Auto. We will most likely see a full 110 lbs come off with the CLAR platform putting it at 3585. This new 3 is going to be awesome, I tell you. |

Oh great, based on those pictures it looks like we'll have to pay extra for a fuel door now too . . . .

To me it looks like a flip up iDrive monitor and a LCD display, a la X6. The orange mark looks like his cruise control speed which is on a banana shaped speedometer. Both look good to me.

They're referring to the line where the hood meets the grill. In the F30 there's the grill, then a painted section, then a gap, then the hood. The hood line is "higher" than in earlier gens where the hood either met the grill directly with no painted section, or the grill was actually part of the hood.
I agree that the current implementation looks excessively goofy. It looks like some kind of last-minute compromise to meet pedestrian safety regs, or some such thing where the engineers beat out the designers. |

The thing is, what you see now, is not what will go into production. They have screwed and bolted all kind of random shit so you cannot tell what the car truly looks like. I'll hold judgment till we see less camo.

But after many of f3x i've seen in dealer for repairing. Most of them got damage on the front bumper but not up to the hood which i think BMW designed it for a reason. Just my idea though. |
