For those of you who got the carbon package and are wondering if dealers are using Betalink to reinforce the front attachment, I can confirm that my dealer did. Passenger side attachment cracked from hitting debris on the highway. Was a pain in the ass to get off, but with some goo gone, a heat gun, some elbow grease and some patience, I was able to get it off. Very happy that the adhesive is used for underneath the bumper and not part of the front because some paint did come off, but you would need to crawl underneath the car with the attachment off to see it. Got the new one on and used 3M tape this time in case I needed to take it off. New one is back on and she’s looking great again.
For those of you who wanted to take the attachments off during times of travel or bad weather, you may be out of luck, unless you’re willing to spend $2400 for new attachments. Betalink is a permanent glue. You will damage the paint and may even snap the attachment trying to get it off 😒 |

I always wondered what those "noises" I heard after shutting off the car were related to. Learned something today...

28K miles and nothing but tires, a brake fluid flush, and oil changes so far.

24 M440i G26 xDrive with about 2k per month and love it. It came with PZero all season non run flats. Decent tires for OEM but at 15k still have great tread. Lots of highway mileage. Car has been perfect. It is a loaded portimao blue with Oyster leather.

Ehh…might be a stretch. I was still a little nervous with mine. But it cleared just fine. 56 inch length ramps might not be enough. That lip seems to ride a little lower than people think. It’s mounted to the bottom of the bumper so it actually extends the bumper more. For piece of mind, i’d go with the 72s lol

2021 model with 25k miles, had front driver tension strut and steering rod replaced under warranty within the first year since it was making a click noise. After that, all is well.
My lease is coming up and i'm debating if i should buy it off. |

20' sitting at 51K miles. Been tuned for majority of the life of the car, (Cycling between E85/91) no major issues to acknowledge. Besides typical Bmw fashion creaks/rattles, and a seeping differential it's been solid. Basic maintenance goes a long way, just did a 50K service including transmission and rear differential glad I got that done. Both fluids came out looking like metallic nail polish, fresh fluids and filters definitely helped. Plugs were done at 30K might look into getting it done again. Should make it to 100K no issues fingers crossed. If anything goes it's gonna be the PCV from all the added pressure or turbo, but at that point might as well upgrade.

Switch to Motul 5W40 8100 x-cess 100% synthetic motor oil and change every 5k miles and you’ll never have to add oil again.
