Today I discovered my ACC stop-and-go and assisted driving plus features are gone. I'm not entirely sure if it's the new BC version that broke it, but the Driver Attention Camera cannot be unchecked from the iDrive menu:

Then attempting to activate Assist Driving Plus in traffic jam gives a warning in the screen saying something about it being permanently disabled.

Inspecting BimmerLink gives the following error:
Driver Camera System, 024508 Control unit is not coded.

I have reverted to earlier backups in BC but this feature is still disabled.

From this thread, it looks like I need to code SAS3 and set C_HOO_Vorhanden.

I'm trying to get some useful options coded on my pre-LCI M340i, and BimmerCode does not report the Body Domain Controller at all in the list of control units. I have an MHD Universal adaptor, the latest BimmerCode app installed on my Android (Version 2.37.2-7111), and my iDrive version is 03/2025.50.

Is there something else that needs doing so I can see it? Or do I have a vehicle without a BDC (does this even make sense?)

I have a 2020 M340ix and I had the gearshift console replaced by the dealer due to the EPB not working.

They did a full update of all the s/w. I don't do any updates (even have the SIM disabled) as I am tuned. But I let them do the updates this time.

To my pleasant surprise the DME was not re-locked, so I reflashed MHD (it did a long flash) and I am back. Anyway this is a side point.

I went to program everything back to how I had it. I started with Bimmercode and did a lot of the basic coding there - no issue.

Then I went to Bimmerutility to code the more complex items. That did not work.

Using Android app - it kept crashing every time I'd try to do a backup. So I moved to Windows with an enet, and that too did not work.

I could not code certain modules - ACSM5 or DSC modules would not allow me to code - BUT BDC was fine.

I contacted BimmerUtility and they confirmed that BMW have changed the mappings and they need to make an update for it to work again.

So I am waiting on the update in order to complete my coding.

I’ve been working on a custom mobile application project designed for BMW coding and diagnostics. The goal is to provide a seamless interface for enabling hidden features and managing ECU parameters directly via mobile.

While the legacy F and early G-series (pre-2023) coding works perfectly using standard UDS protocols, I’ve hit a significant roadblock with the newer G-series models utilizing Secure Coding 2.0 (SGBD 2.0).

The Challenge:
As most of you know, newer I-Levels require online NCD signing (NCDS) through BMW's backend. Since my goal is to keep as much of the process "offline" or independent of paid third-party "signing proxies" as possible, I'm looking for a way to handle NCD generation or signature verification locally.

What I'm investigating:

Offline NCD Signing: Is there any known research on emulating the signature service locally or using a "master" certificate for development purposes?

Signature Patching: Are there any leads on patching the SGBD verification within the ECU RAM to accept unsigned NCDs?

Everything worked well, except when the car went into deep sleep, the display stayed black, unless I did a reboot of the head unit (30 sec on/off button).


Today I attempted to fix this by restoring all control units by re-writing the back-up files.

After flashing the instrument cluster, it stayed black and did not display anymore anything. I also can't connect anymore to the instrument cluster with Bimmercode (it's not in the list).

Can annyone support here? I was reading online and understood I could possibliy solve this by using Esys. Is that correct?

I'm hitting the "Secure Coding" wall on my November '23 build. DKOMBI4 (Instrument Cluster) is missing from the list, and I can't find the TCM_MSA / Auto Start-Stop memory in the BDC.

I know I'm on the newer cloud-signed firmware, but has anyone on 23-11-558 found a workaround for the Alpina gauges or ASS memory? Is it time to move to BimmerUtility or just wait for a BimmerCode update?

I replaced my white DRLs on my 2021 m440i with the lemon yellow led boards a few years ago. All was well, worked perfectly and no error messages. Last August I had to replace the drivers side inner DRL as it stopped working. I had to purchase a new set but only replaced the non working DRL. (Thank goodness it was the one easily accessible from engine bay) the new set is purchased from a different vendor than the original ones so I am thinking it must be a difference in voltage and the computer is picking this up.

Now I get this "Urgent Lighing System Checkup, the daytime running or parking lamp is malfunctioning error on the BMW App. Won't go away. This error msg has appeared since last August.

Tried to disconnect neg terminal for 30 mins, reset the idrive. Won't go away. Is there a way to code it out via Bimmercode? If so please list the steps.

I'm trying to customize the behavior of the "Angel Eyes" on my G20 through BimmerCode Expert Mode (BDC_BODY3), but I’ve hit a wall. I have two specific goals:

Speed Limit Removal: I want the Angel Eyes to stay on (at full brightness or at least not switch to low beams/dim) even when the car is moving. Currently, they seem to dim or change mode after 17 km/h. I'm looking for the exact parameters to set the speed threshold to the maximum (FF).

100% Brightness in Parking Lights: When I switch to Parking Lights mode, the rings dim significantly. I want them to stay at 100% brightness (DRL level) regardless of the light switch position.

I've looked into BDC 3075 LceMaster and 3073 LciMaster, but some common parameters like V_STANDLICHT_AUS_FKT are missing or named differently in my I-Step version.

Could anyone provide the current Expert Mode paths and values for:

Increasing/Removing the speed limit for Parking Lights?

Setting the PWM/Voltage for rings to 100% in all modes?
