That is not my Shelby, so I am not trying to project. It is my buddy's.
I saw the render and I was struck by the similarity. Do not look at the finishing pieces, like tale lights and such. The body lines are nearly identical.
No worries if you do not agree. I take no offense and realize everyone sees things differently.

I noticed it right away looking at your post. The roofline, windows, kink, and the line above the wide hips leading to the trunk. Top half of each car look very similar to me.
