Not able to put trans into sport shifting
This happened twice now, about a month apart. I start driving and do the usual, put it in sport+, DSC off, and sport shifting but I was not able to move the shift knob to the left! I can use the paddles to temporarily put it in manual shifting. After a couple of short trips, it was working again but now I'm concerned. Has anyone else experienced this? I will be calling BMW in the morning to schedule service and also tell them about the noise coming from the driver side front as if something is loose.
