I'm in the same boat. "preparations completed for the upgrade to version 07/2020.54. you will be notified when the upgrade can be installed. installation only when stationary. see owners handbook for more information" message had been on the cars idrive for last 4 days. Things I've tried so far are charging the battery and driving 25 miles. Will do a longer drive at the weekend to see if as others have posted it will finally install. I've contact bmw connect but they've not yet replied. Any other options I could try?
