Oh most definitely, G8X should be crushing the Alfa in metrics. Where the Alfa is consistently beating F8X and seemingly G8X (based on a limited amount of comparisons so far, but too early to tell) is in "feel".
I will say that I am more and more starting to resonate with the concept of "feel" over objective performance. Case in point is that I think even F8X's performance limits are far outside the bounds of usability on the street, I have no doubt that G8X will suffer from this issue as well but will be less compromising about its edges and generally better to live with... although you can only get so comfortable when the rear subframe is bolted directly to the chassis.
