This car makes me sad. Between my wife and I, we've had 4 different Acuras (2009 TSX, 2013 ILX, 2015 TLX and 2018 RDX) that we leased. I really liked the brand and we had zero problems with any of the cars when we had them.
I was looking forward to the Type-S and almost delayed my M340i purchase in March just so I could see what it was all about. I think the normal TLX looks nice so was hoping the Type-S would up the driving experience. I have yet to drive it, but based off all these posts and the reviews it does not.
I also liked the simplicity of the brand as far as options and trims used to go. Back when I got my TSX the only options were automatic/manual and nav/no nav. Made it easy to find a perfect spec'd car and you didn't get nickeled and dimed on all the features. They've gotten so far away from what they used to be.
