Yea my post was confusing, but if you look at the manual you'll see the power pins on the amp where the harness goes have comments about do not use. You need to use the separate power pins by running a cable from the battery and another ground. You only need one each.
With the MEC have a read of the harness you got and the following
MATCH PP-BMW 1.7RAM
The 7-channel UPGRADE wiring harness PP-BMW 1.7RAM enables the simple connection of a MATCH UP 7DSP amplifier with MEC ANALOG IN module to selected BMW models from 2019 with a factory RAM Receiver Audio Module.
By the way, I've got this in my car already and I've got a separate power and the MEC addition
