M340i resonator/muffler delete without drone?

Just wondered if anyone has managed a muffler/resonator delete without any drone at all, and if so what your set up looks like. And did you have any impact to low end torque or fuel economy at all?

Also am I to understand that with a muffler delete the valves are left constantly open?

I saw this video about a muffler bypass, and the guys comment about having two cut out valves before the muffler, and didn't quite understand it. Does anyone know what he's refering to and how it compares to simply cutting the muffler out?

On a final note, I wonder why an aftermarket muffler hasn't been made. Eg one that looks the same size/shape as current one so as to not raise suspicion or affect layout/arrangement too much, but with major sound deadening elements etc taken out from inside it.

Either way, all help appreciated.
