Would Sdrive be a sportier feel ?

Any reviews/ opinions (even if comparative only) out there that could provide an idea on the difference between X and S drive on M440 GC?
Don’t know that anyone has compared them yet—as the 440 RWD GC is not out yet. But, one can assume that RWD would be lighter and a bit more tossable. That said, it would definitely need the M differential to really use the power on tap without losing traction (think pulling out of curves and turns).

RWD should also have lower maintenance costs over its lifetime. And, you do not need to worry about replacing all four tires at the same time if you have an issue with one.

Furthermore, you can also tow the car with the wheels down. An AWD car has to be flatbedded, if in need of a tow.

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.

But, having owned BMWs of both stripes, I will say the fun gap between RWD and AWD has really closed. There is not as much of a stark difference as there used to be.
