I'm still trying to picture it. The 'welcome carpet' and door handle lights look great, but my initial impression is that any additional lights would just be clutter.
Is it really that big of an amenity to trade it in? Or do you want an M3, and simply looking for a reason to justify the change?
One thing that has been the case before, and certainly more common with the current supply chain issues, is that options/parts change between years, and even midway through a year. Unless the part is such a detriment to the car, most OEMs will just make the change to keep production moving.
