I wonder if this has to do with the Adaptive Suspension? Do you have the Adaptive M suspension? I was going to pull the trigger on 245/40/19, on factory 19x8 rims since others had said they'd work, but after further research it seems cars with the Adap sus have the same issue you describe.....and only on driver side. Did shop just bend the spring perch up enough to clear?
