They warm up as I drive the car. That’s what I meant.
Winter tires won’t save you from black ice , unless the tires crack through the ice. There is no traction on black ice.
Like I said when I drive them in the cold , I get my tires warm enough to even think about picking up speed. I never had traction issues and I don’t drive my cars in freezing temperatures.
Freezing temps and cold temps are different.
