The xDrive driveshaft was weaker compared to the RWD version...
So people killed it with xDelete.
And our ATC13 case is not built to the same specs at the ATC13.2 found on the M3 X Drive. Similar case. As far as the clutch packs go, eh, yeah, I was already on the same logic train as cyam. No engagement, no wear/slip. And that’s correct. Just hard to pinpoint exactly where you might see the most wear, or, in the worst case, damage. I personally can’t see how but I’m not going to pretend to be the engineer that designed this stuff. I’m just holding my breath until a year or two goes by without seeing any preventable failures that were merely caused by shitty drivers abusing their shit, not the box failing due to the case design commingled with the software mod itself. And those issues are hard as hell to ascertain the real issue. But I’m guessing most people just shove the thing into the most demanding mode and tear it up. Take it with a grain of salt, I guess!
