R8 would have to be gated shifter only. The pre-DCT days in the R8 are horrible. That 4.2L V8 in today’s standards is kinda slow. If you can find a clean manual V10 R8, I’d go with that. Otherwise I’d easily have a DCT C8 over an old V8 R8. Also the early R8’s navigation and electronics are very dated now.
