The engine spec says 382 HP at 5,000 rpm. At that specific rpm - 5,000 - in order to make 382 HP, you must be making 400 ft-lb or torque. You cannot SIMULTANEOUSLY make 382 HP at 5,000 rpm and not make 400 ft-lb of torque at 5,000 rpm.

I'll use my F80 M3 as an example. Engine specs - 425 HP @ 5500-7300 rpm, 406 ft-lb @ 1850 - 5500 rpm. Take 5,500 rpm since we have the values at that rpm for both torque and HP. Plug in 406 and 5500 and voila you get 425 HP.
You're absolutely right on this one! It's actually even worse, since the Tq drops beyond 4500rpm! Somebody mixed up the figureware in Germany.
