I feel the opposite when it comes to real M cars. Before the F series BMW cars you could buy any BMW and it felt special, it had that BMW feel. M cars took that feel to level 11. Today M cars still feel like BMWs while non M cars have lost most of that special BMW feel and the gap to me feel wider than ever. |
Statements like this take me back. When I really think about how I felt about non-///M BMW's, I truly did like my '02 330ci sport package more than my '06 330i and my '14 335i. Yes, the 335i was fast and the 330i got AWESOME gas mileage, there was something about that '02 330ci that stands out. Maybe it's because it was my first [of 14] BMW(s)....or maybe it did just
feel better.
