$1,000 for 2 tires and alignment.
$2900 if I want to have 2 new wheels installed.

Had another pothole incident a few months ago and replaced a tire and a rim. I didn’t feel any vibration but wanted to play it safe.

$800 for a front rim and $400 for the tire.

This is very concerning. Have the car for 16 months and have 21,000 miles, lots of highway driving.

Is it worthless to file an insurance claim?
Sounds like you have either bad luck, poor evasive maneuver experience, or bad roads where you live….. or a combination of all, lol. Having non run flat tires may help slightly in absorbing those impacts.
