It all depends on the tire and wheel offset. If you are too aggressive, you will impact the scrub radius of the suspension and that will make it handle worse. Tire width usually has more impact on turn radius and there are also diminishing returns as you go wider.

Keep in mind that the factory tires are paired with the suspension and generally set up for the vehicle to be neutral in the handling department with a slight understeer. There is nothing wrong with going a few sizes wider in the front to help the car come around better.

I'm currently running a 255/35/19 PS2 upfront and have no issues what so ever. Car handles like it's on rails.
