The issue I notice is that people will be prone to hit the traction control button or auto start/stop button. It's kind of strange for them to put camera controls surrounded by drive controls.
On the F30 the surround view and front side camera buttons are grouped together at the bottom.

It is next to the parking button that activates the 360 video camera.
