No it's not. Pirelli run flat tires are crap compared to Michelins.

xDrive is nice if you want to launch the car. It's not just for bad weather.
I've seen Pirelli's on the M5 so they must be pretty good. I rarely spin my tires on my RWD MPPSK on dry pavement or even while cornering.
