Adaptive suspension uses basically the same coils, but different dampers.

There are products (Dinan shockware as an example) that are available for other BMW platforms (F30 as an example not for G20 yet) that will modify the parameters of the dampers but that has nothing to do with ride height.

Some Audi's and Mercedes (and others) use an air suspension that can be programmed (or mechanically tricked ) to sit lower
