The M5 Comp has absolutely no issues worth speaking of (3 years and
40k miles). There's an F90 thread on issues to look out for and outside of covering the oil cooler and monitoring for coolant leaks the platform is bulletproof stock. Its also true that most M5 Comp owners think the F90 CS isn't worth it (30-40k + price differential). The M3 Comp I built fully loaded was ~$115k (CCB's, etc) and the M3 CS will run ~$15k more including the dealer mark up. That's worth it...

But I think the CCB decision is simple, long term keeper from new and no track - CCB's. Short term ownership and track - steel!

Just my opinion. My F90 has CCBs and I absolutely love them. One of the main reasons I'll probably keep my 2020 M5C with CCB's alongside the M3 CS with steels.

But you're right, its a personal choice. Guess I'll have to get used to steel brakes again...
