Well, gone for a 30 mile schlep and currently sat outside a Starbucks having a brew and the upgrade is on 44%, so as I thought, the battery needed a bit of help after my continual short commutes. Could tell it was different as a checklist appeared that didn't happen on the previous 2 occasions. Hopefully all done in the next 10 mins.
