You can in fact do that.. I am working on it right now. I did some research and found this link:

I got a net on ebay for $6 and am working on ordering the plastic pieces. I have access to a machine shop so I think I'm going to make the metal punch that the previous link talks about. I am also thinking about just laser cutting the holes, I have access to a very powerful laser at work.
I was planning on writing a how to when I finish the mod.
