Multiple Macan owner here. It’s one of the most sports car-like SUV’s ever made (maybe THE best one pending me driving the Stelvio QF and Urus), but it’s still never going to be a small light coupe in terms of driving dynamics. The higher trims will, however, beat the 128i in some performance metrics.
But here’s my take - if you have a Z4 and a 911, that 128i is completely superfluous to your garage. Why not get something still sporty but tons more useful. The Macan is my only large car and because of that it gets used the most by far.
