Ah, Houston...I used to live there though moved in 2015. Coincidentally, I was in the process of ordering my F30 at the time I was leaving town and remember all the Houston dealers being terrible when it came to pricing.
I ended up ordering through a dealer in the LA area back then. You could do the same, and consider a PCD delivery. It would take a bit longer but might be worth the wait and even the experience driving your new BMW home from SC. Otherwise, I remember dealers in other Texas cities (Beaumont or San Antonio) being reputable for lower prices at least back then. Perhaps might be worth a shot contacting them (or, even dealers in Dallas).
