According to current statistics, out of the currently resolved cases there is an 11% mortality rate. Essentially 1 in 10 people die from this virus. We shouldnt be dismissing the virus because projected death rates are lower than they were expected but rather thankful that it hasnt been worse. Lets not forget that as a society, plenty of us have done our part in taking protective measures to help curb the spread of the virus. This could very well be one of the reasons the previous projections appear to look overblown.
Out of curiosity, can you link me to some of the projected death rates you've read about in the past?
At the end of the day, you can believe or doubt what you read on the internet about the virus. As is the case with anything on the internet, some if its true, some of its BS, some of its sensationalized, etc, etc, etc. But what you should do is listen to what your local doctors and nurses working in the hospitals are saying. And overwhelmingly, they are saying this is a serious issue not to be taken lightly.

No, 1 in 10 people do not “essentially die from this virus”. That’s maximum fear porn bullshit that continues to be parroted by people who don’t understand those are the folks who are so ill they have to present themselves to hospitals. The CDC itself came out with a detailed report last week which showed the overall death rate when considering ALL infections is essentially 0.1%. Of those who have died here in America, roughly 40% have been in nursing homes where folks are 6-12 months from being done in this world regardless. New Jersey deaths included folks where 87% had serious pre-existing conditions. This is all well known and I could go on and on but the data is everywhere now. This is a disease that kills the old, invalid, and those with serious preexisting conditions in huge percentages. If you’re under 45, your chance of death from this is near zero.
Speaking of Doctors, I can give you plenty of examples of them coming out now saying the “cure” to this BS pandemic is far worse than the disease itself. We’ve destroyed the world economy, put 40 million Americans out of work, plunged millions upon millions into depression, ushered in totalitarianism into the world where it never was before, destroyed personal liberties and freedoms, and now we have rioting everywhere here in America and spreading around the world due to the actions taken to combat this BS. George Floyd is a cover, these riots are all due to the action taken due to this “pandemic”.
Never in human history have we quarantined the healthy like this. We should have protected those most vulnerable such as those in nursing homes, rushed to herd immunity, and dealt with pandemics rationally like we’ve in the past.
Nothing about this has been rational. The measures taken were based on now proven inaccurate bullshit models, and forced on people by tyrannical leaders who only care about their own power and nothing else. This isn’t, nor was it ever about saving lives. It’s 100% about control.
This whole thing was a SCAM. It’s barely more deadly than the average flu, and as I’ve stated the overall yearly death figures haven’t budged since this nonsense started.
