BMW has updated the Connected app 3 times in the last month which is promising. When the app stops working, I have generally been successful by executing the following steps:
- Reboot iDrive by holding the volume button for 20 seconds.
- Updating "Apps and Services" from the Apps menu and tapping the "Options" button on the center console.
- Deleting and re-creating the vehicle in the BMW Connected app on the iPhone.
