Wow. I guess I had hoped it would be a joke. The huge kidneys look ridiculous on the new 7, and now this design looks totally disconnected from known BMW reality to me.
As a fan of BMW design for almost 30 yrs, I guess I have to describe my feelings/reaction as almost a feeling of betrayal. Why would they do this? This looks so out of character for BMW. Extreme change for the sake of what? It does not make sense to me.
It's extremely polarizing, and not in a good way.
