The max rated amperage from a domestic supply in Ireland is a notional 13 amps, but its unlikely anything in normal usage draws that much. If you use the IV=P formula, 13*220=2860W. That's equivalent of almost 29 100W bulbs.
I'd reduce to 10amps max or get an electrician to install a dedicated outdoor socket direct from fuseboard with an RCD. Do not use an extension lead as electrical fires are a real danger in my opinion.
