Not that hard to believe. The 2018 340 base is $49K ;; M-Sport adds $4750.
That's already more than half the difference. Also, items like leather which were optional before, might now be standard ($1450).
One thing this $56k figure could have priced in is Destination...
...another grand. Not far-fetched at all.
