I would think a gray M340 that's been debadged wouldn't get this kind of attention, but that's just me.
With that being said, OP, I can see why this is annoying but just ignore it. There's always going to be idiots on the road and driving german cars, especially BMWs and Porsches seems to attract a lot of people who want to race or do other stupid things. Ultimately I'd just not even look in their direction, turn the music up and go on with my day.

The M340i is about as much a sleeper as a C43 AMG. As soon as a car enthusiast sees an "M" or "AMG" badge... they know it's quick. So yes I do agree if you debadge it, it likely won't get as much attention.
As is though, it's really only a sleeper to the average joe driving his camry who's thinking about anything other than cars.
