Lol will never happen. Porsche are the kings of the automotive landscape. every car they make is best in class across the board and has been for decade now. BMW gave them a great run for their money in the previous decade and then completely sold out to mass appeal without a silver lining (see: Porsche's dominance in the SUV category for their breadwinners, while using the gains to keep their legacy of making the best sports cars). |
Well clearly it was close to happening ...but based on what we have seen in recent years , BMW doesn't have the chutzpah to make it over the top. BMW is leaving a lot of would be M2 sedan and 2 series sports sedan buyers by the wayside along with G20 3er owners that don't want AT, hoping they will all instead buy an X3M or a single offering of M2 coupe. That's not a decision that will move them to the top.
