My M340d averages mid 40s mpg overall running around with mixed driving. High 40s / even mid 50s on a run travelling at legal limit speeds. Great car, won't be swapping it any time soon. Doesn't sing like an M340i but I can live with that for all the times we get to let them loose nowadays.
