Since you clearly haven't driven one, you can't possibly know what it feels like. It is the only true homologation special worthy of praise since the e30 M3 debuted.

It's also the last mass produced car that comes only in a manual. That alone says it all.
Lancia Delta Intergrale comes to mind as a worthy. It's always going to be tough comparing old classics with modern cars. I have not drove a GR since it's been 5 years since I was last in EU but thinking Toyota USA has no plans to federalize the Yaris GR so it's a mute point.
