I thought the Dealer holdback was 6%. I thought they get an extra 1% if they meet some targets, which about 90% do. Is that not the case? Is it just 5%?
Also don't forget to factor in the document fee. In NJ that is typically 450-600 with one prominent dealer group charging 699. So the dealer has moved a portion of their profit to this safe space.
