Now, for the next factory BMW GT4, whether that ends up being based on the G82 M4 or switches to the G87 M2, it'll be interesting to see because it would typically use a beefed up version of the transmission from the road car. They did use the ZF8 in the M235i/M240i Racing, so I would not be surprised to see the GT4 get the ZF8 as well. |
I believe the Supra GT4 will be using the ZF trans (although R&T states it is reduced to 7 gears) so it makes sense the new BMW GT4 would use the ZF as well ( assuming the G87 switches to a ZF if they base on that platform).
