I remember listening to the HK in a 330i a while back and I didn’t think it was that much of an improvement over the base HiFi system in my car. But I didn’t know it lacked power as well since I have to get the volume to atleast half (on my base system) to listen to music clearly. This is when I miss the B&O in my A4. Leagues apart!

So the HK system is quite a bit better in terms of clarity and even some low end bass. I would definitely not buy a G20 without it. I had the B&O system in my B9 S4 and S5 and although it was more immersive (more speakers, and speakers on the pillars which gave it the surround feel) it wasn't all that much different to be honest. The B&O system is MAYBE ever so slightly better than the HK but not by much. And I've found that I can listen to deeper bass at higher volumes with the HK system without rattling every door and speaker grille...something I can't say about my experience with the S4/S5 B&O system.
