Just a quick update in case anyone else is following this thread, I finally got connecteddrive working on my 2021 G20 (US Spec) while in Germany. Basically, CD NA created a ticket to resolve the issue with my VIN number not showing up in their system. Took a couple weeks of calling them and asking about updates on the ticket and finally today I was able to register my car via the app and everything works!
