Precisely my point. This is my only vehicle, and I much prefer to drive a car most of the time with a sleek body style and low center of gravity. The hatchback/sportback allows me to cram larger items in when necessary, which isn't that often. I was able to stick two giant washer/dryer pedestal boxes in my S5 Sportback, and there's *no way* that would have been possible with a regular trunk. As you say, I don't need it most of the time, but it's there when I need it. |
