I asked a dealer about this, and they said it's "better" to do it as part of the build, though obviously you can get it later yourself.
Not sure why. I guess they have a bigger invoice to show if you buy it through them at order time ?
But I suppose if you get it as part of the build, the assumption is it will be working when you pick up your car, as opposed if you buy it later and it doesn't work for some reason, you have to take it in for a check.
