You're a CA, ask your regional after sales rep to find out from NA when they'll open up DR to purchase through the Connected Drive Store. May not be till end of 2020 when they push the OTA update to offer AA (if that ever happens for pre July 2020 cars).
So far iDrive 7 and downloadable apps has been a disappointment. Maybe iDrive 8, lol.
