I wouldn't put too much stock in what you were quoted now. I'm sure plenty of people are going to see $60K cars with $650-$700 payments depending on the deals they get. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if the new M3 is that much more expensive given the difference between the base MSRP of the 330i and the M340i.
