What do you think about building a new tool based on the new M4?

Possible or not the good idea? :
You'll need to be willing to be a guinea pig or very patient, right? I've done tracking but have never built a track tool. I'd think if you were going that route there would be other vehicles better suited for the job that would be more effective and/or less money. GT350 or SS1LE/ZL1 1LE, a vette grand sport (if these are as good of a value in Germany as they are in the states). If you're looking for more class, then a P Car seems the way to go. M2/3/4 are great for a mix of street and track but I don't understand tearing one apart to make it a track toy. It obviously can be done, but at what cost?
