Spot on. I'm a big fan of what my M340i does well, but it isn't perfect and a lot of that imperfection is frustrating because it is what BMW did so very well for years.

I think that the other lux-lite guys making drivers cars definitely have the classic ultimate driving machine concept in their sights. Cadillac came SO CLOSE. Genesis will either season the recipe into perfection or spill salt all over it. Watch out for the next Mazda6, rumored to be RWD with an inline-6!!
