Here in Europe it is a "no, no" as the 8" rim is outside ETRTO and DIN standards. For the tire on the 3-series, it is 8.5" - 10", with a 9" measuring rim.

I agree, I don’t recommend it. But it’s possible. Heck, the other day someone wanted to fit a 265 or 275. It’s physically possible, just not optimal.
